Managing Director
Wendy Gourley

Wendy Gourley came to Resonance Story Theatre from a background in musical theatre and storytelling. She was on the teaching staff at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City, Utah where she was the founder and co-director of VocalWorks, a musical theatre program for children, grades 2-12. She developed curriculum and helped oversee the education of hundreds of children. She wrote and directed many of the children’s productions, and acted and musically directed for the main stage as well. While in Park City, Wendy was also the music and drama teacher at the Colby School.

Through her storytelling, Wendy performs at festivals, concerts, schools and conferences, including the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, the second largest festival in the United States.

She is a past president of the Utah Storytelling Guild, on the membership committee of the National Storytelling Network and a national columnist for the Storytelling Magazine. She has produced many events and currently serves as the Timpanogos Storytelling Conference committee chair. Wendy handles the writing end of Resonance Story Theatre and fills the role of co-producer, grant writer and playwright.  www.wendygourley.com

Business Manager &
Outreach Coordinator
Jana Grass

The stars were alligned when Jana learned about Resonance.  She instantly knew that this team was for her.  She graduated from Utah Valley University in 2010 (Theatre Education), and is thrilled to be more involved in the world of storytelling.

Since she came to the team from a strong theatrical background, Jana has been elated to be able to perform again, as well as handle the business side of things.  Jana has had the privilege to participate many productions at U.V.U., some of her favorites being: Charlotte's Web (Charlotte); Nunsense (Amnesia); Enchanted April (Lotty); Canyon Suite (Laura); and several others.  She was also a member of the Black Box Repertory Company and The Song 'N' Dance Team for three years.  Jana has directed, music-directed, stage-managed, designed, and acted in other productions, both at U.V.U. and on the community level.

Jana is an up-and-coming storyteller, bringing what she knows about performance and engaging an audience to her new-found love of storytelling.  She has discovered a home in the art of storytelling, and hopes to stay here for a very long time!

Jana is the booking agent for Resonance Story Theatre, and would love to bring our show to your audience!
