Wendy Gourley came to Resonance Story Theatre from a background in musical theatre and storytelling. She was on the teaching staff at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City, Utah where she was the founder and co-director of VocalWorks, a musical theatre program for children, grades 2-12. While in Park City, Wendy was also the music and drama teacher at the Colby School.

Through her storytelling, Wendy performs at festivals, concerts, schools and conferences, including the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, the second largest festival in the United States.

Artistic Director

Nannette Watts

Nannette Watts has been a professional storyteller for over a decade. Growing up, her family life was immersed in stories and storytelling. She holds a BFA in Music Dance Theatre. She is the former artistic director of UVSC's singing ambassadors, Encore. Nannette is a member of the Utah Storytelling Guild, Timp Tellers Chapter. She has presented workshops on storytelling from local to national venues.

A coach of youth tellers, including her own children, she has inspired many students that have gone on to perform at storytelling festivals (such as Timpanogos, Zion, Vernal, and Snake River) as well as the National Youth Storytelling Showcase and the National Storytelling Festival.

Storytelling by Nannette Watts is full of animation and spunk. She blends movement and voice to create characters that captivate listeners. An ardent nurturer of storytellers and public speakers, she has taught workshops locally and the national level. She was a Western Region Teller at 2006 Timpanogos Storytelling Festival and has told at almost every festival in Utah and Idaho.  www.nannettewatts.com
